Ingredients

  • 2 limes
  • 1 jalapeno chile, finely chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits or ripe pineapple, chopped small
  • 2 oranges, peeled and chopped or 1 can of mandarins
  • 1 cup dark raisins
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 envelopes of Knox gelatin
  • 2 diced hard boiled eggs
  • 3/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 drops Tabasco or horseradish
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Put the mixture into smaller containers and cover them, such as with plastic butter dishes.
  3. Refrigerate or chill for at least an hour.
  4. Serve with crackers or vegetables as a dip.
