Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with wax paper.
  2. Cream butter well in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add sugar and continue to cream until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Stir in the mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, and chopped nuts.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
