Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato soup
  • 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Spray a 1-inch side pan (jelly roll or cookie sheet).
  2. Brown ground beef, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, crushed oregano, garlic salt, and black pepper in a skillet.
  3. Add tomato soup and grated Parmesan cheese to the cooked mixture and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Prepare elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and air dry.
  5. Beat together milk and egg.
  6. Stir the egg and milk mixture into the cooked macaroni.
  7. Spread the macaroni mixture in the greased pan.
  8. Spread the beef and tomato mixture over the macaroni.
  9. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.
  10. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  11. Let the dish set, then cut into 8 large squares.
