Polish Meatballs are savory, tender meatballs simmered in a sweet and tangy cranberry chili sauce, perfect for hearty gatherings or comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
  • 1 can whole cranberries
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. sauerkraut
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, dry onion soup mix, and eggs together and form into very small meatballs.
  2. Place the meatballs in an oblong baking pan.
  3. Mix Heinz chili sauce, whole cranberries, brown sugar, sauerkraut, and water, then pour the mixture over the meatballs.
  4. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  5. Cover the pan during the first hour of baking.
