Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced cooked potatoes ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine ⓘ
- 1 small onion, finely chopped ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon flour ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- dash of pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese or American process cheese ⓘ
- 3/4 cup milk ⓘ
- 1 cup diced ham ⓘ
Instructions
- Arrange potato slices in a 2-quart baking dish and set aside.
- Combine butter and chopped onion in a 2-quart measure.
- Microwave the butter and onion mixture for 3 minutes on High until the onion is transparent.
- Stir in flour, salt, pepper, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, curry powder, shredded cheese, and milk.
- Microwave the mixture for 3 to 4 minutes on High until hot and cheese is melted.
- Stir in diced ham.
- Pour the sauce over the arranged potatoes.
- Microwave for 6 to 8 minutes on Power Level 6 or until the potatoes are heated through.
