- Boil sweet potatoes with skin on for 30 to 45 minutes until tender.
- Let potatoes cool, then peel off the skin and cut into chunks.
- Combine the peeled sweet potatoes with cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped pecans, brown sugar, crushed pineapple, and butter in a mixing bowl.
- Put the mixture into a square glass or aluminum pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
- During the last 5 minutes, top with miniature marshmallows and brown lightly.
