Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can small red beans
  • 4 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans
  • 1 1/2 c. cabbage, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 c. small macaroni
  • 3 c. water

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, sauté ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped celery until beef is browned and vegetables are tender.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients: spaghetti sauce, small red beans, sliced carrots, frozen green beans, chopped cabbage, small macaroni, and water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
