Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 large onion diced
  • 4 cans pork and beans
  • 1 can kidney beans drained
  • 1 can baby lima beans drained
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing dish, combine the cooked beef and onions with the drained kidney beans, baby lima beans, and pork and beans.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard to make the sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce over the bean and beef mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer everything into a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour, until hot and bubbly.
