Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. cube steak
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Shake steak pieces in flour and brown in shortening.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a baking dish.
  3. Pour the beef bouillon over the ingredients.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and bake at 350°F for 75 minutes.
