Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (1 lb.) can fruit cocktail (undrained)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • chocolate chips (optional)
  • chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together, except chocolate chips and nuts.
  2. Pour batter into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
