Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can macaroni and cheese
  • 8 oz. can peas, drained
  • 6 1/2 or 7 oz. can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced dried onion
  • 6 medium tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the macaroni and cheese, drained peas, flaked tuna, chopped eggs, mayonnaise, chopped green pepper, prepared mustard, dried onion, salt, and pepper. Cover and chill.
  2. Cut each tomato into wedges, cutting to but not through the base of the tomato.
  3. Spread the tomato wedges apart slightly and sprinkle lightly with salt.
  4. Cover and chill the tomatoes before serving.
