Rocks Cookies are hearty, cinnamon-spiced treats loaded with raisins and nuts, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and enjoying with a glass of milk or coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  2. Blend dry ingredients and add to mixture.
  3. Beat until well mixed.
  4. Add raisins and nuts; blend well.
  5. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
