Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup oleo (butter or margarine)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (16 oz.) can salmon, drained, boned, and flaked

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine potatoes, onion, celery, chicken broth, garlic, and marjoram.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in milk and oleo (butter or margarine).
  4. Combine flour and corn; stir into the soup.
  5. Heat, but do not boil, until slightly thickened.
  6. Gently stir in the drained, boned, and flaked salmon, and heat through.
