- Lightly sauté mushrooms, green onions, and green pepper in 3 tablespoons of butter for 1 minute.
- Add flour, stir, and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
- Combine all ingredients, saving enough cheese to sprinkle on top.
- Transfer mixture to a buttered casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese on top.
- Bake at 400°F for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
