Ingredients

  • 2 lb. spaghetti
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 12 oz. mushrooms (3 cans of 4 oz. each)
  • 45 oz. tomato sauce (3 cans of 15 oz. each)
  • 1 can tomato pieces (15 oz.)
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 green pepper, chopped fine

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet or pot.
  2. Add all other ingredients except the spaghetti to the skillet.
  3. Let the mixture simmer to develop flavors.
  4. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Pour the sauce over the cooked spaghetti and toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot or freeze for later.
