Spaghetti-Gratin

A creamy, cheesy spaghetti bake layered with fresh tomatoes, herbs, bacon, and melted Gruyere, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings with rich flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley
  • 4 to 5 tomatoes
  • 7 oz. Gruyere cheese
  • 8 oz. bacon
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

  1. Butter a baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and mix with parsley and oregano.
  3. Slice tomatoes and layer over the spaghetti in the dish.
  4. Sprinkle basil on top.
  5. Grate Gruyere cheese and sprinkle over the tomatoes.
  6. Add crumbled bacon and chopped onions on top of the cheese.
  7. Pour heavy cream over the entire mixture.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake for 20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
