Ingredients

  • 3 (16 oz.) cans baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans whole kernel corn
  • 10 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped red or green peppers
  • 1/4 cup smoked barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot or crock-pot.
  2. Cover and cook for 35 minutes on the stove or on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours in a crock-pot.
  3. Serve hot, optionally topped with shredded Cheddar cheese.
