A flavorful, spicy rice dip combining seasoned ground beef, rice, vegetables, and cheese, perfect for parties or casual gatherings with chips or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. seeded and chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 chopped jalapeno pepper (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Add all ingredients except sour cream to the skillet.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in sour cream and heat through without boiling.
  5. Serve the spicy rice dip with chips.
