Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup self-rising meal
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 hot peppers
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased bread pan.
  3. Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
