A hearty baked steak dinner with potatoes, carrots, peas, and savory onion soup flavor, perfect for comforting family meals or weekend gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 large round steak
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup frozen English peas
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place a large piece of heavy-duty foil on a cookie sheet.
  3. Place the steak on the foil.
  4. Add potatoes, carrots, onion slices, and frozen peas on top of the steak.
  5. Prepare the onion soup mix according to the package instructions and pour over the steak and vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the ingredients.
  7. Fold the foil up over the steak and vegetables and seal tightly to prevent liquid from escaping.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours.
