- Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Place 8 slices of bread in the pan; top with ham and cheese.
- Butter the remaining slices of bread and place on top of the cheese.
- Beat eggs, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce together.
- Add chopped onion and milk to the egg mixture and stir.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread layers in the pan.
- Refrigerate the assembled dish overnight.
- Before baking, drizzle melted butter over the top and sprinkle with crushed potato chips.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350°F.
- Let set for 15 minutes before serving.
