Ingredients

  • 2 small boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 Tbsp. Oriental 5 spice powder
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a wok or large frying pan, brown the chicken and sausage in olive oil.
  2. Add the chopped carrots and onions.
  3. Saute until the vegetables are wilted.
  4. Add the Oriental five-spice powder.
  5. Mix until the meat and vegetables are coated with the spices.
  6. Add the tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to package instructions.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the cooked noodles.
  9. Serve the meat and vegetable mixture on top of the noodles.
