Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small bunch shallots
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 2 cups moistened French bread
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 to 2 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dash of Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped celery, bell pepper, minced garlic, and minced shallots in butter.
  2. Add moistened French bread, crab meat, chopped parsley, and eggs to the sautéed mixture.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and a dash of Tabasco sauce. Fill aluminum crab shells with the mixture.
  4. Sprinkle tops with buttered bread crumbs.
  5. Bake at 350°F until lightly browned, approximately 15 minutes.
