Creamy stuffed jumbo shells filled with savory beef and walnut mixture, baked with rich spaghetti sauce and Parmesan cheese for a hearty, family-friendly Italian dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. jumbo shells
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 cup celery
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 30 oz. spaghetti sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare shells as label directs; drain well and set aside.
  2. Heat salad oil in a skillet, then add ground beef, minced onion, minced garlic, chopped celery, salt, and pepper; cook until meat is well browned.
  3. Stir in chopped walnuts and half of the spaghetti sauce.
  4. Stuff each shell with a rounded tablespoonful of the meat mixture.
  5. Reserve the remaining meat mixture for later use.
  6. Spoon 1 cup of spaghetti sauce into a 10 x 2-inch casserole dish.
  7. Arrange the stuffed shells in the casserole and sprinkle with the remaining meat mixture.
  8. Pour the remaining sauce evenly over the shells and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
