Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small package noodles
  • 1 can cream-style corn (No. 300 can)
  • 1 can stewed or plum tomatoes (No. 300 can)
  • 1 small jar chopped pimento
  • 1/2 cup chopped stuffed olives
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. grated American cheese or more
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage and ground beef in a large skillet.
  2. Cook the noodles according to package directions.
  3. Add all ingredients to the skillet with the meats, including cream-style corn, stewed tomatoes, chopped pimento, chopped stuffed olives, and chopped green pepper.
  4. Mix well and transfer to casserole dishes.
  5. Top with grated American cheese or more as desired.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
  7. Optionally, add toasted almonds or mushrooms before baking.
