Tangolini
A hearty casserole combining seasoned meats, noodles, vegetables, and cheesy goodness, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings with rich flavors and comforting textures.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage ⓘ
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small package noodles ⓘ
- 1 can cream-style corn (No. 300 can) ⓘ
- 1 can stewed or plum tomatoes (No. 300 can) ⓘ
- 1 small jar chopped pimento ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped stuffed olives ⓘ
- 1 green pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 lb. grated American cheese or more ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the sausage and ground beef in a large skillet.
- Cook the noodles according to package directions.
- Add all ingredients to the skillet with the meats, including cream-style corn, stewed tomatoes, chopped pimento, chopped stuffed olives, and chopped green pepper.
- Mix well and transfer to casserole dishes.
- Top with grated American cheese or more as desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
- Optionally, add toasted almonds or mushrooms before baking.
