Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using a mix of short ribs and cubed beef. If you're out of Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce can be a great substitute. Adjust the amount of chili sauce based on your heat preference. If you want to include more vegetables, you can add carrots or potatoes during the last hour of simmering. This dish pairs beautifully with a side of mashed potatoes or rice.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this hearty beef dish over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes or with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce. A side of steamed green beans or a fresh salad complements the richness of the dish. For a complete meal, consider pairing it with a nice red wine or a light lager.
