Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can garbanzo beans

Instructions

  1. Saute celery and onion in margarine until soft.
  2. Stir in flour, Worcestershire sauce, salt, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chicken broth and milk.
  4. Heat to boiling, then boil for 1 minute.
  5. Add kidney beans, garbanzo beans, and green beans.
  6. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with biscuits.
