Ingredients

  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. dried whole basil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 1/2 cups chopped turkey
  • 1 (10 oz.) frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Combine the chicken broth, chopped tomatoes, sliced carrots, sliced celery, sliced onions, garlic, tomato paste, dried basil, salt, and pepper in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in the chopped turkey and frozen peas.
  4. Simmer for an additional 15 minutes before serving.
