- 6 oz. can crab meat, rinsed, drained and cartilage removed ⓘ
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot ⓘ
- 1/2 cup finely shredded Monterey Jack cheese

- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 4 scallop shells or ramekins (4-inch) ⓘ
- 1/4 cup half and half ⓘ
- 1 egg ⓘ
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine crab meat, shredded carrot, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, sliced green onion, all-purpose flour, ground nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon one-quarter of the mixture into each scallop shell or ramekin.
- Arrange the filled shells on a serving platter.
- Set aside and serve.
