Ingredients

- 2 eggs ⓘ
- 1/2 cup warmed half and half ⓘ
- 1/2 cup melted butter ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla ⓘ
- 1/2 cup applesauce ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped walnuts, and raisins; set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add warmed half and half, melted butter, vanilla, and applesauce; mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow muffins to cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin.
