  • 12 cloves
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar

  3. Pour the marinade mixture over the cooked shrimp.

Tips & Substitutions

For best results, use fresh shrimp rather than frozen to enhance the flavor and texture. If you're short on time, you can substitute with pre-cooked shrimp, but adjust the marination time accordingly. For a bit of heat, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade. This dish pairs well with a refreshing salad or some crusty bread to soak up the marinade.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the marinated shrimp chilled as an appetizer or as a light main dish over a bed of greens. It pairs beautifully with Jim'S Crab Bisque for a seafood-themed meal. Additionally, consider serving it alongside grilled vegetables or with a side of rice to complement the flavors.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will continue to develop, making it even tastier the next day. To reheat, gently warm the shrimp in a skillet over low heat, stirring frequently, to avoid overcooking and drying them out.

What can I serve with marinated shrimp?

Marinated shrimp is versatile and can be served chilled as an appetizer or alongside a salad. It also pairs excellently with dishes like Fried Fish Or Shrimp or even as a topping on pasta for a delightful seafood meal.
