Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup peanuts

Instructions

  1. Heat butter, honey, vanilla, salt, and peanut butter together in a saucepan, stirring to blend.
  2. In an 8 x 8-inch square pan, combine rolled oats, crispy rice cereal, flaked coconut, and peanuts.
  3. Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly coated.
  4. Pack the mixture firmly into the pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Cool and cut into 16 bars.
