Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen fish fillets
  • 3/4 c. chopped green onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. red wine
  • 3 Tbsp. snipped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp, rinsed and drained

Instructions

  1. Thaw fish if frozen.
  2. Cut fish into 1-inch pieces.
  3. In a large saucepan, cook green onion, onion, and garlic in hot oil until tender.
  4. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to boiling, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add fish, shrimp, and undrained clams.
  7. Bring just to boiling, then reduce heat.
  8. Cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
