Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 3/4 cups cream-style corn
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 package prepared bread stuffing
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped onion and chopped celery in 1/4 cup margarine until tender.
  2. Add cream-style corn, water, salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  3. Pour the mixture over prepared bread stuffing.
  4. Add egg yolks and mix lightly.
  5. Shape the mixture into 12 balls.
  6. Place the balls in a shallow baking pan.
  7. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over the top.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until firm and well-cooked.
