Ingredients

  • 6 matzos or 4 cups farfel
  • 1/2 cup fat or margarine
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 cup minced celery
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 to 1 1/2 ounces chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup ground nuts

Instructions

  1. Saute onion and celery in fat or margarine until tender.
  2. Add broken matzos or farfel and toast lightly.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well, adding chopped nuts.
  4. Shape into 2-inch balls and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes until brown.
