Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 to 3 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Mix ground lamb, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion and salt in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into 16 meatballs.
  3. Heat garlic in vegetable oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the meatballs to the skillet.
  5. Brown the meatballs on all sides and cook until they are done, about 15 minutes.
