Delicious Broccoli Soup

- Saute the margarine and the chopped onion in a Dutch oven or pot until translucent.
- Add water according to the desired amount of soup and bring to a boil.
- Add bay leaves, carrots, potatoes, and celery. Cook until these vegetables are slightly tender.
- Add cauliflower, sugar, chicken soup base, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Optional: add broccoli and cauliflower after other vegetables are tender.
- Simmer the soup until all vegetables are cooked through.
- Mix milk with a tablespoon of flour, then add this mixture into the soup.
- Bring the soup to a boil to thicken slightly. Serve hot and enjoy!
