Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using chicken broth instead of water. You can also substitute the cream with a dairy-free alternative if desired. If you're short on time, pre-cut vegetables or frozen broccoli and cauliflower work well. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice just before serving can enhance the freshness of the soup. This dish pairs beautifully with Crusty Baked Chicken.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the broccoli soup hot, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley or chives for added color and flavor. It pairs well with crusty bread or a fresh salad, making it a hearty meal. Consider serving it alongside Pepper Rice for a delightful and filling dinner.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it on the stovetop over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. If the soup thickens too much, add a splash of water or broth to reach your desired consistency before serving.
