Ingredients

- 3 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. salt ⓘ
- dash of black pepper ⓘ
- 1 can Pet milk ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 1/2 medium onion ⓘ
- 1 1/3 c. Minute rice ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. oregano ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. parsley ⓘ
- dash of cayenne pepper ⓘ
- 1 1/3 c. water ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) can whole, drained tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 pkg. cleaned shrimp ⓘ
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in flour, salt, black pepper, oregano, and cayenne pepper; cook until smooth.
- Gradually add Pet milk, cooking over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
- Add shredded Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
- In a separate pot, cook Minute rice according to package instructions, using water.
- Add sliced or chopped onion and drained tomatoes to the cooked rice, stirring to combine.
- Add cleaned shrimp to the sauce and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Serve the shrimp mixture over the cooked rice with tomato and onion mixture.
