Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 (8 oz.) can peas, drained
  • 1 can French-cut green beans, drained
  • 1 (12 oz.) can white corn, drained
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the oil, water, salt, pepper, sugar, and vinegar until the mixture is well mixed.
  2. Combine the peas, green beans, corn, diced green pepper, grated carrot, and chopped onion in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the vinegar and oil mixture over the vegetables and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and chill the salad for 24 hours before serving.
