- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato juice (unsalted) ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh carrots ⓘ
- 1 cup diced raw potatoes ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped cabbage ⓘ
- 1 cup diced green pepper ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn ⓘ
- 1 bay leaf ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. basil ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. dill weed ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. thyme ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
- 6 cups water ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the lean ground beef in a large skillet. Pour off the fat.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the bay leaf before serving.
