Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavor of the Herbed Beef-Vegetable Stew, consider marinating the beef in the Heinz 57 sauce overnight. You can substitute the fresh mushrooms with canned mushrooms if necessary, or use other vegetables like potatoes or bell peppers. For a thicker stew, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with water and add it during the last simmer.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Herbed Beef-Vegetable Stew with crusty bread or over a bed of rice for a hearty meal. A side salad can complement the dish well, adding freshness. This stew pairs beautifully with Beef Summer Sausage for a more filling spread.
