Ingredients

  • 16 oz. sliced peaches, drained
  • 16 oz. pear halves, drained and coarsely chopped
  • 16 oz. plums or cherries, drained
  • 20 oz. pineapple chunks, drained
  • 6 oz. maraschino cherries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 16 oz. can applesauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine all fruit in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and applesauce; heat and stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the sauce over the fruit in the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and pecans.
  5. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1 hour.
  6. Seal with aluminum foil and serve.
