Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • 4 oz. wide noodles
  • 1 (No. 2) can red kidney beans
  • 1/2 cup cheese, grated
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • chili powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Add tomato soup, water, and wide noodles to the beef mixture.
  3. Cover and cook until the noodles are tender.
  4. Stir in red kidney beans, half of the grated cheese, and seasonings to taste.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
