Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Ground Beef
  • 1 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 8 oz. Medium Noodles, cooked and drained
  • 8 oz. Sharp Cheese
  • 2 Cans Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup Chopped Green Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Chili Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped Canned Pimiento
  • 3/4 Tsp. Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 1 1/2 Cup Soft Bread Pieces

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onions in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Combine cooked and drained noodles with the cooked meat and onions.
  3. Stir in sharp cheese, condensed tomato soup, water, chopped green pepper, chili sauce, chopped pimiento, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix well and pour into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Combine bread pieces with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle the buttered bread pieces evenly over the casserole.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
