Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. raisins

Instructions

  1. Cream together the shortening, brown sugar, eggs, and peanut butter.
  2. Add the soda, baking powder, flour, oatmeal, coconut, chocolate chips, and raisins; mix well.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
