Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. jumbo shells
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 small can Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 can mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo shells until half done; drain water and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix salt, pepper, half of the Parmesan cheese, Ricotta cheese, garlic, parsley, and seasoned salt.
  3. Brown ground beef with chopped onion and mushrooms; drain excess fat.
  4. Combine the cooked beef mixture with the cheese mixture and add the egg.
  5. Spread 3 tablespoons of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a baking pan.
  6. Fill each shell with the meat and cheese mixture and place in the baking pan.
  7. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over the filled shells.
  8. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and 2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes.
