Laverne'S Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean beef cubes ⓘ
- 1 large onion ⓘ
- 6 celery stalks ⓘ
- 3 large carrots
- 10 red potatoes ⓘ
- 2 tsp. olive oil ⓘ
- 2 tsp. Season-All ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 2 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 can peas ⓘ
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 can tomato bisque soup with tomato pieces ⓘ
- 2 beef bouillon cubes ⓘ
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions
- Brown the beef in a heavy Dutch oven with olive oil, then brown the onion.
- Add about 3 cups of water, bay leaves, beef bouillon cubes, season-All, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 20 minutes.
- Add carrots and cook for another 20 minutes.
- Add celery and other ingredients except potatoes, soup, and peas. Then add the potatoes.
- Cook until the potatoes are tender.
- Add the tomato bisque soup and some water.
- Stir in the peas last before serving.
- Serve the stew with toasted English muffins.
