Tips & Substitutions
For a vibrant and nutritious pasta salad, feel free to substitute any of the vegetables with your favorites or what's in season. Try adding spinach or arugula for extra greens, or use chickpeas instead of kidney beans for a twist. If you prefer a lighter dressing, consider a homemade vinaigrette instead of La Martinique Restaurant Dressing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make this pasta salad ahead of time?
Absolutely! This salad actually benefits from sitting for a few hours or overnight, as it allows the flavors to meld together beautifully. Just make sure to store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
What can I substitute for the pasta?
If you're looking for a gluten-free option, consider using gluten-free pasta or even spiralized vegetables like zucchini noodles. Cauliflower rice can also work well if you want a low-carb alternative, while still providing a great texture in the salad.
Is it possible to add protein to this salad?
Definitely! You can add grilled chicken, shrimp, or even chickpeas for a vegetarian option. This will make the salad more filling and perfect as a main dish. Just make sure to season the protein well to complement the salad's flavors.
