- 4 tsp. fast active dry yeast ⓘ

- 1 egg ⓘ
- 1/4 c. oil ⓘ
- 1 c. rolled oats ⓘ
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder ⓘ
- 3/4 c. wheat germ ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. sourwood honey ⓘ
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. dried apricots ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 4 1/2 c. Pillsbury bread flour ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. cloves ⓘ

- melted butter or margarine ⓘ
Instructions
- Snip apricots; put in a bowl with honey.
- Stir; let set.
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water; stir until dissolved.
- Add salt, sugar, and baking powder; stir to dissolve.
- Add buttermilk, rolled oats, and wheat germ; mix well.
- Let set 10 minutes.
