Oriental Brown Rice

- Place 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet and heat.
- Add raw brown rice slowly, stirring continuously, until each grain is coated with oil.
- Pour water into a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add oil-coated rice slowly and cover the pot.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 30 minutes.
- Stir-fry mushrooms in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and set aside.
- Add the remainder of the oil to the skillet and stir-fry the remaining vegetables and garlic.
- Add cooked mushrooms and rice to the vegetables.
- Add tamari (soy sauce).
- Quickly scramble the two eggs, break them apart, and add to the mixture.
- Toss all ingredients lightly and serve.
